Due to the effect COVID-19 has had on schools, colleges, and workplaces, many companies have opened up access to additional resources from home temporarily.  This will give you and your students even more support as you work and attend school from home.  

Pre-K through grade 12+ Resources

ABCdatabasesuite from World Trade Press: This gateway website offers 100% free and unlimited access to all six World Trade Press K-12 educational databases through at least September 15, 2020 for North American public and private K-12 schools.

ABDO Zoom: Online research for beginning readers. Subjects include animals (also available in Spanish language), Biographies, and STEAM learning.

ActivEd: Offers Walkabouts, web-based lessons for pre-K to second-grade students that integrate movement with language arts, math, and reading content and correlate to your state’s standards.Temporarily available at no cost to any classrooms impacted by school closures and remote learning needs.

American Archive of Public Broadcasting: Access to thousands of historic public television and radio programs.

Amplify Grades K-2: Free read-aloud lesson videos. Students go on a Knowledge Journey through American history to learn about Colonial America, how the United States became a nation, and the War of 1812. They watch videos, listen to read-alouds, and discover new words.

Beanstalk Interactivel: Educational pre-school children's content.

Bedtime Math: Playful online math problems for parents to do with their kids every day, as well as lively hands-on games. Families can also download the free Bedtime Math app. which delivers a fun new math problem every day for families to do together and is proven to boost kids’ math skills.

Digital Public Library of America: Photographs, books, maps, news footage, oral histories, personal letters, museum objects, artwork, government documents, and more that are free and immediately available in digital format. 

JSTORJSTOR provides access millions of academic journal articles, primary sources, and books. During this time they have expanded free access to content.
