Due to construction work on the Chanhassen Civic Campus project there will be significant disruption to  Chanhassen Library access starting April 27 through mid-June. Please see the City of Chanhassen news release for more information.

•  Construction on the traffic circle outside of the library will block access to the driveway in front of the library and the whole parking ramp.  
  • Parking is in the city hall/senior center lot to the east of the library. The lot connects to the library via a sidewalk. There is also construction in that area.
• Kerber Blvd. will be closed north of the library to put in more street parking and a crosswalk.
• You can't access the building from Kerber Blvd.

During this time you may want to move your holds to another library location. You can do this online under My Account  or call us at 952-303-0401 during open hours. If you move them to Victoria Library you may wish to register for Extended Access which lets you pick up your holds from 7 am to 10 pm every day. Please note that there is also construction around Victoria Library, including on Highway 5.

 The Chanhassen Library is located on the corner of W. 78th St. and Kerber Boulevard, one block north of Highway 5, directly east of Lunds and Byerlys.

Chanhassen Library hours are:

• Sunday from 1-5 pm
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm
• Friday from 10 am to 5 pm
• Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm
