Garden Volunteers (Chaska Library): Age 18+. Help work in the community garden, prepare materials, and deliver produce to local food shelves.
New! Teen Summer Reading Volunteers: Help staff with our annual summer reading program June-August. Ages, shift dates, and tasks vary by library branch. We will accept applications April 1-24, 2026.
All volunteers must print and return the County Volunteer Application along with the form for the location below.
Chanhassen
- Ages 14-18. Volunteers must also must have completed one year of high school and be attending high school in the fall of 2025.
- Shift options include Monday through Thursday. Shift times vary.
- Print and return the Chanhassen Teen Volunteer form to the Chanhassen Library along with the county application above.
Chaska
- Ages 13-18.
- Shift options include Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm or 1 to 3 pm.
- Print and return the Chaska Teen Volunteer form to the Chaska Library along with the county application above.
Norwood Young America
- Ages 13-18.
- Shift options include Tuesday or Friday from 10 am to 12 pm.
- Print and return the Norwood Young America Teen Volunteer form to the Norwood Young America Library along with the county application above.
Victoria
- Not accepting volunteers.
Waconia
- Ages 13-18.
- Shift options include Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am or 6 to 8 pm and Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm.
- Print and return the Waconia Teen Volunteer form to the Waconia Library along with the county application above.
Watertown
- Ages 13-18.
- Shifts are on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm.
