 Using Your Library

 

 
Your library is here to serve you!  You can access your library account Fotolia_23991272_XS.jpgfrom your home, office, or vacation spot.  All you need is a computer with internet access and your library card to:

If you do not have a library card, you can apply for one online.
 
PUBLIC COMPUTERS AND PRINTING
Internet access and Office 2007 (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word) is available on library computers.  Black and white prints are 15 cents per page and color prints are 50 cents per page.

Wireless printing from laptop computers is available at the Chaska and Chanhassen locations. 

WiFi
Wireless Internet Access (WiFi) is available at all Carver County Library locations during open hours.  The wireless network is CarverPublicWiFi.  A wireless password is necessary to access the wireless network.  The password changes monthly, and is available in all libraries.

 
COPY MACHINES 
Copy machines are available at all libraries.  The cost is 15 cents per page for black-and-white copies and 50 cents per page for color copies.  Color copying is available at all libraries with the exception of the Watertown branch and the Cologne, Mayer and Victoria Express libraries.  
 
FAX MACHINES
Fax machines for public use are available with the assistance of a staff member.  The cost is 50 cents per page.
 
INTERLIBRARY LOAN
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service that allows you to borrow library materials or receive photocopied documents that are not part of the Carver County Library collection from other library systems. You can login to MnLink Gateway  using your library card and request materials be delivered to a local Carver County library.
