Patrons have the ability to view a list
of library materials checked out on their library card, renew library materials,
view materials that they have placed on hold, modify personal information, and
pay fines and fees online by logging into
My Account. Patrons
need to enter their Last Name, Library Card Number, and a PIN (Personal
Identification Number) to access My Account.
Your PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a number that verifies your
identity when you access your library account. Your library PIN may consist of
numbers and/or letters. When you apply for a library card, you'll be asked to
create a PIN. For your privacy and security, your PIN can be changed after

PIN, please contact any Carver County Library to request to have your PIN reset.
If you’ve forgotten your PIN and have an email address in your library record,
you can reset you PIN online by selecting Forget Your PIN on the My Account
page. You need to submit your Last Name and Library Card
Number, and a link will be sent to the email address in your library record with
instructions on resetting your PIN.
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY
Your PIN, along with your name and the barcode number on
the back of your library card, allows you to access My Account, where you can:
- View your Library account
- Renew library materials
- Request library materials
- Modify personal information
- Pay your fines and fees online

library record receive courtesy notices reminding them of the due date of
checked out library materials. Patrons with email addresses
in their library records also receive hold and overdue notification by email.
