FAMILY LAW CLINIC   

Receive a free 20 minute consultation from a volunteer attorney regarding family law matters, such as divorce, custody, child support, or parenting time. If you are currently represented by an attorney, the volunteer attorney cannot assist you.

When:  Typically the First Tuesday of each month 10am-noon

DO-YOUR-OWN-DIVORCE CLINIC 
 
 
Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) will help you file your own divorce.  An attorney will answer your questions and help ensure your paperwork is filled out correctly.  All documents are completed at the clinic.
Must meet income eligibility requirements to participate.

CRIMINAL EXPUNGEMENT CLINIC 
  
Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record.  People request an expungement when they have been denied a job, housing, or a professional license because of a criminal incident that shows up on a background check.  Attend an informational session and meet individually with an attorney regarding whether this is a realistic option for your situation and receive assistance with filling out the court documents.
