CRIMINAL EXPUNGEMENT CLINIC

Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record.  People request an expungement when they have been denied a job, housing, or a professional license because of a criminal incident that shows up on a background check.

Attend an informational session and meet individually with an attorney regarding whether this is a realistic option for your situation and receive assistance with filling out the court documents.   No pre-registration is necessary.

When: Tuesday, May 20, 2014, 1pm – 4pm

Where:
Carver County Government Center, Lower Level, Jury Assembly Room, 604 E. 4th St., Chaska, MN 55318

Who: Everyone is welcome. No pre-registration required

Co-Sponsored by the Carver County Law Library and the Volunteer Lawyers Network.  Questions about the program may be directed to Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) at 612-752-6677 or the Carver County Law Library at 952-361-1564.
