 Get Involved

Want to get involved with your library?   Here are some of the ways you can volunteer at the Carver County Library.

Volunteer help is needed with all kinds of tasks, some simple and some more technical, some helping the public and some behind the scenes.

Carver County Library Volunteers:
•work with patrons, from children to seniors, at special events
•help computer users at the library
•work with library staff behind the scenes
•help keep our materials and our buildings in good shape
•work with books, DVDs, and other library materials
Adults and teens can volunteer to organize materials,  help out with programs, and more.
When Do Volunteers Work
We’ll work with you to schedule your volunteering at a time that’s convenient for you.

Friends of the Library coordinate special events and help the library raise funds. Friends sort donated books and work at the shop during open hours. Sometimes they lend a hand at special library programs. Some of the Carver County Library Friends are library volunteers too!

Friends of the Library groups are always looking for more members.Fotolia_32675493_XS_Donation.jpg

The library gratefully accepts monetary donations and materials donations

Planned giving is a great way to ensure your support of the Carver County Library. Planned gifts allow donors to make a significant impact over an extended period of time.
Additionally, there are certain benefits from planned giving such as reducing your taxes, conserving your family's wealth and fulfilling your charitable goals.
