9th Annual Hooked on Books...and the Arts, too!
Saturday, February 22, 2014
Chanhassen High School
Hooked on Books...and the Arts, too! features a very special guest this year, namely, Jerry Pallotta.
Pallotta's message, "Read a Zillion Books!" excites readers with icky bugs and ocean themes, the "flowers of the alphabet" and "nature's most wild matchups!"
The morning includes free, family fun in support of reading and literaccy, and the opportunity for parents to provide cultural community-building experiences for their children. Venue will be supported by many local professionals offering age-appropriate activities, centered on reading and arts culture. A partnership of Carver County Library and the Eastern Carver County Schools and partially funded by Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
