Volunteer Opportunities

Adopt-a-shelf

Like to sort and organize? You can adopt a shelf or shelves as your own and help to maintain proper order and appearance. Volunteers must be able to file alphabetically and numerically. Once trained, volunteers can come in at their convenience anytime the library is open. Service groups and organizations are encouraged to apply.

Internet Volunteer Needed

Chaska and Watertown library branches are looking for volunteers to teach adult computer classes. Classes are typically 1-2 hours in length, offered once a week, and limited to two students. As a volunteer you will need good, basic computer skills.  This is a great opportunity to interact with others who are curious and excited to learn the benefits of technology. Complete lesson plans and training are provided.  Call 952-227-7609 for additional information.
